Semester's End

Well, the papers have been turned in. The edits have been done. The exams have been graded. the grades have been turned in. I have a couple meetings left for this afternoon, and a couple loose ends to tie up, but the semester is essentially finished.

I conducted my teacher survey at Tiffin Columbian yesterday. It was fabulous. It was great to see all those old teachers (looking noticiably older, I must say). They actually clapped for me when I told them I'd be "Dr." in about a year or so. Clapped. I was taken aback.

Over the break I want to complete one HSRB application for the law-related television survey. I also want to input and run some of the teacher survey data and get some results from that. Two goals for the break. They're good goals, do-able and meaningful for my research. I also have to update the IPC 102 course at some point. I guess that means three goals. Two for research, one for pedagogy.

Happy Non-Specific Winter-Time Holiday Everyone!
